I’m pleased to tell our friends that we have just won a verdict for our client Charles Bunge, an innocent man who was falsely convicted of committing a drive-by robbery that was actually committed by another individual. After Mr. Bunge’s served about two years in prison, his case was reversed, he was retried, and acquitted. We sued New York State to prove his innocence, and called as witnesses, among others, the man who actually committed the crime Bunge was convicted of. We finally got the court’s decision, and they have ruled in favor of our client, clearing the way for him to be compensated for the time he spent in prison.
