THIS BLOG is intended as a window into the place where our criminal defense lawyers really accomplish the most important part of our job- inside our heads.  It’s while we’re driving, or taking a shower, riding the subway, or just staring at the ceiling, that the real work is done.  Throwing ideas back and forth, chewing them over, throwing them out and trying again.  Criminal defense is a creative endeavour, we eat breathe and sleep our cases.  That’s the only way criminal defense lawyers hit those “Eureka!” moments.  We look forward to you joining us in the messy, imprecise jumble of thoughts that we whittle into winning strategies, and hope you’ll enjoy the ride.  We’re going to talk about the real practice on the real street.  The real courtrooms in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, the Bronx.  In all their glory.  Let’s have at it!  -AS
